This is an example of my work, the seal of archagel Raphael from Faust's Magia Naturallis et Innaturallis, table 101. The seals and spirit names are extracted from the Heptameron of Pseudo Petrus Apono.
I chose this one because it's related to Mercury and books, and it is the one watermarked on the banner.
Very fine draftsmanship, hand drawn, printed in two colors.
Old version, uncropped showing the whole table:
New version, black and white:
If there is any German to English translator who would like to tackle this very fine piece of occult literature, please contact me. The publisher, one of the most respectable in the field, likes the idea of translating it and is ready to go.
can do
ReplyDeleteAre you referring to the German-English Translation?
ReplyDeleteHello Asterion, I think that is latin not german.
ReplyDelete:))) I do know the difference between the two languages... The book itself is in German, but for some reason, the illustrations i perticular bare Latin agendae.
ReplyDeleteVery very nice work. What is the significance of the symbol that looks like a reversed B in the "old" version?
ReplyDeleteHello Brent. The signs and names with the seals are all informations from the Heptameron. However, they are supplimented with seals and simbols besides that, from either German grimoires or a kind of shorthand of the practicioner. It would take a very long time to study each sign, and because of that I do not have an answer to your question, but the offer still stands for a German to English translator. Once we translate this marvellous grimoire, the key to its symbols would be clearer.
ReplyDeleteIt s usually a name starting with a B, or a character of a spirit, like Barbiel or Bazarachiel, but I am only speculating.
